We also suggest checking a company out. Not everyone is honest so a little checking shouldn’t make a good company worry. Every broker and carrier has an MC number that they are required to have by the United States Department of Transportation. On Safersys.org you can research the MC number that is given to you. At the site it will tell you if the company you are about to work with has the authority to do the work, the insurance required , as well as just make sure they are a real live business.
